Sherina is a dispute resolution partner and heads the firm's India practice. She has a wide range of experience in all key aspects of international arbitration in a broad range of industries including energy, trade, transport, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, commodities, finance and other industries. She represents clients across the globe in numerous arbitration proceedings, including those before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and in ad hoc arbitrations. Sherina also has significant experience in ADR and high court litigation. In addition to representing clients as counsel in arbitrations, Sherina regularly sits as an arbitrator.

Sherina serves on the: board of directors of the LCIA; ICC's Indian arbitration group; the SIAC users' council's UK national committee as one of its four members (along with Toby Landau QC, Audley Sheppard QC and Julian Lew QC); the board of the European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration (EFILA); and the board of Child Rights and You (CRY UK), a charity for underprivileged children.

Sherina is a published writer and speaker on international arbitrations and India. She has co-authored a chapter of the book Arbitration in England, edited by Julian Lew QC et al.

Sherina is highly regarded in the legal profession. She is ranked in several legal directories, and was featured in the Legal Business Disputes Yearbook (2015) as one of "the next generation of partners setting the disputes agenda", in Legal Week's 2016 feature, "Rising stars: the new generation of litigators making their mark" and in Corporate Vision’s “Ones to Watch” publication.

WWL says: Sherina Petit impressed our interviewees, who said: "She has a thorough understanding of the entire arbitration process from a macro and micro level. Her personal level of involvement and how passionate she is about the case have stood out for me."
