Martin Molina is a partner and member of Kellerhals Carrard's dispute resolution team in Zurich. He advises and represents clients in commercial disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals and also serves as arbitrator.
Martin has acted as counsel as well as arbitrator (chairman, party-appointed and sole arbitrator) in arbitration proceedings under a variety of rules, including the ICC, ICSID and Swiss Rules, in matters relating to sales, distributorships, licensing, share purchases and joint ventures, inter alia, in the construction, pharmaceutical, high-tech and energy industries.
Martin Molina holds a licence en droit from the University of Geneva and an LLM in international legal studies from New York University and is admitted to the bar in Geneva and New York. Prior to joining Kellerhals Carrard, he has worked at law firms in Geneva, Zurich and New York and served as legal advisor and resident claims judge of the Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant Accounts in Switzerland. He joined Kellerhals Attorneys at Law in 2009 and was made partner in 2013.
Martin is a member of several professional associations, including the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), the Club Español del Arbitraje (CEA) and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). He regularly speaks and publishes on subjects of international arbitration and litigation.
He is fluent in English, French, German and Spanish, and has good knowledge of Italian and Portuguese.
