Anna is a partner in the Slaughter and May competition group. She has worked in the firm’s London and Brussels offices, and has been resident in Brussels since 1 May 2015.
Anna has been involved in a significant number of merger cases before the UK and EU competition authorities, as well as advising on the multi-jurisdictional aspects of merger review. Her contentious experience includes advising clients in the context of investigations by competition and sectoral regulators, the appeal of cartel fines to the European Courts and follow-on damages actions before the national courts.
Anna’s recent matters include advising Cirrus on its takeover of Wolfson; CSR in respect of its acquisition by Qualcomm; INEOS on its acquisition of sole control of Styrolution; and IAG/British Airways on its acquisition of Aer Lingus and in respect of the multi-jurisdictional air cargo litigation.
Anna was named Lawyer of the Year in the under-40 category at the 2015 Global Competition Review Awards. She was also named in Management Today’s "35 under 35" list of high-flying young businesswomen.
