He has been appointed as an expert in more than 20 cases in which damages claimed exceeded US$1 billion, seven of which exceeded US$10 billion.
Brent has helped clients and arbitral tribunals resolve disputes in North, Central and South America; Western, Central and Eastern Europe; the Commonwealth of Independent States; the Russian Federation; Southeast Asia; the Caribbean; Africa; and the Middle East.
Brent received the internationally recognised designation of chartered financial analyst from the CFA Institute in 1998.
