Philipp H Haberbeck started his professional career 20 years ago. In this time, he has worked on a large number of commercial disputes related to various industries, in particular banking and finance, trade, and construction. He is specialised in the field of dispute resolution, in particular in commercial litigation and international commercial arbitration, and has practised as a solo practitioner in Zurich since 2016.
From January 2012 to December 2015, Philipp H Haberbeck was a member of Eversheds’ dispute resolution team in Zurich, in which he principally worked on international commercial disputes. From 2005 to 2011, he was an in-house counsel at Bank Leu and then Clariden Leu, Zurich, which were integrated into Credit Suisse Group in 2012. He was an associate at Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law Ltd, Zurich, from 1996 to 2005, discontinued by a one year position as a foreign associate in the litigation department of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York (2002/2003).
Philipp H Haberbeck graduated from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, in 1996 (German/French bilingual studies; magna cum laude), and was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1998. He is a member of the Swiss Bar Association, the Zurich Bar Association, the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) and the German-Swiss Lawyers’ Association (DSJV).
