Wolf Stumpf is a partner in the Frankfurt office of Noerr LLP, where he is member of the banking and finance group. He advises domestic and international clients (banks, financial institutions and corporates) in all banking related matters, including banking litigation. Wolf Stumpf especially focuses on supply-chain finance products, factoring and receivables purchase transactions.
He has acted as lead-counsel and local co-counsel in various complex cross-border factoring transactions including European (especially CEE and southern Europe) and non-European jurisdictions. Furthermore, Wolf Stumpf has advised clients (banks and factoring companies) in connection with the structuring and multinational implementation (with a regional focus on Europe) of supplychain finance products including, inter alia, reverse factoring and purchase of single receivables via IT platforms. Furthermore, he represented banks and factoring companies in insolvency proceedings of, and litigation against, customers, borrowers and debtors.
Wolf Stumpf also has extensive experience in litigation for banks and financial institutions as regards investment advice, prospectus liability and enforcement of securities.
He studied law at the University of Münster, Germany. Wolf Stumpf is author of articles and speaker at conferences on various aspects of factoring and supply-chain finance issues.
