Ms Rossi’s practice focuses primarily on technology-related transactions, including software licensing, hardware, software and other distribution arrangements, technology transfer and outsourcing agreements.
Ms Rossi has considerable experience representing emerging companies and large corporate clients in a broad array of corporate and commercial issues. She handles a wide variety of matters, including communications, information technology and intellectual property transactions, data privacy and security counselling, joint marketing, strategic alliances, employment contracts, trade secret and intellectual property protection, tax planning strategies, employment policies and practices, and collaboration agreements.
Ms Rossi’s practice is focused on the representation of IT companies in commercial and technology transactions, information privacy and regulatory matters at the domestic and international levels. Ms Rossi’s practice also encompasses government relations and policy matters, as a former counsel of Chile’s telecoms regulator, SUBTEL, as well as during its private practice advising telecommunication companies and electronic signature certification service providers, among others.
Ms Rossi is the contributor of the Chilean chapter on the Global Privacy and Security Law book, published by Aspen Publishers. Ms Rossi received her law degree (JD), summa cum laude, from Gabriela Mistral University. She holds a master’s degree in law from Georgetown University Law Center and a master’s in taxation from Adolfo Ibáñez University. She is a frequent speaker and lecturer on technology transactions and intellectual property issues. She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and has a good understanding of French and Portuguese.
