Robert has extensive experience in dispute resolution, accounting and auditing, consulting and valuation. He has served as an expert witness in diverse matters concentrating in intellectual property and complex contractual issues in a wide variety of industries, including computers, smartphones, medical devices, pharmaceutical, software and high technology, manufacturing, aviation, telecom, and others. He has provided consultation regarding licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and accounting and auditing standards.
Robert has provided consultation and acted as an expert witness in numerous intellectual property, contractual and antitrust matters for plaintiffs and defendants. He has testified in US and international arbitration matters and was the expert for defendants in an international arbitration in The Hague and numerous arbitrations related to service, telecom and other industries. He was the expert for defendants in aviation and manufacturing related patent infringement matters, in which plaintiffs’ claimed damages of nearly US$4 billion and US$10 million, respectively, were for the most part, excluded by the courts. Robert has valued entities and their IP, performed due diligence in connection with acquisitions, and conducted forensic investigations of US and international entities. He has also served as the senior partner for audits of domestic and multinational entities.
Robert holds a bachelor of arts degree with a major in biology from the City University of New York. He did his graduate studies in accounting and finance, at the City University of New York and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Greater Washington and New York Society of CPAs.
