Christopher Nunns is a managing director of the construction solutions practice of FTI Consulting and he is based in Singapore.
Mr Nunns has over 30 years’ experience in the international construction industry working with both contractors and consultants. For the past 25 years, he has been based in Singapore and principally involved in dispute resolution, arbitration, contract administration and claims management. He has given expert evidence for arbitration and court proceedings on numerous occasions and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences. Mr Nunns is a contracts adviser to the Singapore Contractors Association Ltd, and is accredited as an adjudicator in Singapore. He is the immediate past chairman of the Society of Construction Law in Singapore and is a member of the ICE editorial advisory panel.
Mr Nunns graduated from Oxford University in 1976 and he joined the geotechnics division of Ove Arup & Partners based in London. With Arup, he was involved in challenging projects in Nigeria, Hong Kong, South Africa and Mauritius over a period of seven years.
Mr Nunns then moved to Singapore to work on the first phase of the MRT system, gaining experience with an international contractor on a major tunneling contract. With a new interest in contract administration and claims, he joined a specialist consultancy providing contractual and project management services in Singapore and internationally.
Mr Nunns is well known both locally and in the region for his work as expert and advisor.
