Stefanus Haryanto is one of the founding partners of Adnan Kelana Haryanto & Hermanto, and he is the firm’s senior litigation partner who has extensive experience in litigating cases before the Indonesian courts and arbitration, both national and international ones. In his practice, Stefanus Haryanto mostly represents big companies and multinational corporations in telecommunications, insurance, oil and gas, banking and finance, construction, health care, and aircraft manufacturing sectors.
In addition to his main responsibility as the litigation partner of the firm, Stefanus Haryanto is also active in advising clients on Indonesian environmental law, competition law, consumer protection law, and anti- corruption law. He regularly provides legal and compliance trainings for management and employees of a Japanese multinational corporation’s subsidiary in Indonesia.
Stefanus Haryanto holds a law degree (SH) from Parahyangan Catholic University in Indonesia (1985), and holds a master of laws (LLM) degree from Dalhousie Law School Canada (1990). Prior to entering into law practice, Stefanus Haryanto was a senior lecturer and director of the Legal Aid Institute at the Parahyangan Catholic University (1985–1999), and currently he is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature- Commission on Environmental Law (IUCN-CEL) and the International Bar Association (IBA). He speaks English and Bahasa Indonesia.
