Dr Franz Stirnimann Fuentes focuses his practice on international arbitration and litigation as well as Swiss commercial law.

Dr Franz Stirnimann has acted as counsel and arbitrator (chair, party-appointed, sole) in well over 60 international arbitrations (ICC, ICSID, Swiss Rules, CAM, SCC, DIS, LCIA, UNCITRAL and ad hoc) governed by various procedural and substantive laws. He also regularly acts as counsel in arbitration-related proceedings before Swiss courts, including the Swiss Supreme Court. Dr Franz Stirnimann is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is listed in the panel of arbitrators of a number of arbitral institutions (ICC, SCAI, LCIA, WIPO, CIMA, KLRAC, CAIC, etc). He is ranked by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Who’s Who Legal and Expert Guides, among others, for dispute arbitration and dispute resolution.
