Christoph Schreuer is of counsel at zeiler.partners. He is an expert in investment protection and public international law. He has written expert opinions in many investment cases and has served as arbitrator in ICSID and UNCITRAL cases. He is currently working as an independent expert and arbitrator in investment cases. He is fluent in English and German.
Christoph is a graduate of the Universities of Vienna (Dr iur 1966), Cambridge (LLM 1970) and Yale (JSD 1979). During his academic career he was an assistant professor at the University of Graz, and a professor of law at the Universities of Salzburg, the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Vienna.
Christoph Schreuer is the author of numerous articles and books, he regularly holds lectures and is a member of – among others – the ICSID Panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators and numerous international editorial boards. He is the author of The ICSID Convention: A Commentary (2001, second edition 2009).
