Christoph Stäubli is senior counsel of Walder Wyss and co-head of its insolvency and restructuring team. His practice includes corporate, corporate finance and restructuring work as well as insolvency with special emphasis on cross-border aspects. He advises on mergers and acquisitions transactions and acts as counsel to privately held or listed national and international companies regarding their establishment, expansion or restructuring projects as well as to their acquisitions and divestments. He has longstanding experience in international contracts and in coaching of transactional legal teams.
He is a member of the board of directors of the International Insolvency Institute and a board member of Doing Business in Switzerland chapter of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. He is member of the International Bar Association, where he previously acted as committee officer of what is now the IBA insolvency section; he is a member of several other professional organisations.
