Hans Rudolf Trüeb is a partner and serves on the management board of Walder Wyss. He graduated from Zurich University in 1987 and earned his doctorate degree in 1989. After studies at Boalt Hall Law School in Berkeley and various internships, he was admitted to the Bar in 1993 and henceforth practiced law in Zurich. Since 2000, he has taught law at Zurich University Law School where he is an adjunct professor.
Mr Trüeb advises Swiss and international clients in business transactions related to the financial industry, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, IT, telecoms, energy and other fields. He advises clients in competition, data protection, compliance and public procurement matters. He further handles technology transfers, licensing, distribution, joint venture and outsourcing projects. He is often retained as an expert and represents clients in court or before arbitral tribunals. He is co-chair of the Zurich Bar’s technology and telecoms law practice group and frequently speaks and publishes in this field.
