Jenny Power is a principal counsel in the dispute resolution practice group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Vienna. The primary focus of her practice is representing clients in international arbitration, including those conducted under the auspices of the ICC and the Vienna International Arbitral Center (VIAC) and in ad hoc proceedings. She has recently advised clients in construction and industrial engineering matters as well as post-M&A disputes. She also acts as an arbitrator.
Jenny is a co-editor of the Austrian Yearbook on International Arbitration and author of The Austrian Arbitration Act: A Practitioner's Guide to Sections 577-618 of the Austrian Code of Civil Procedure. She is a member of the board of the Austrian Arbitration Association (ArbAut).
Jenny was born in Mumbai, India in 1960. She holds a JD degree from the University of Miami School of Law. She is a member of the Florida and American Bar Associations.
Jenny joined the firm in 1988 and speaks English and German.
