Raymond Codjoe was a member of a team of experts who assisted the government of Ghana in developing the Ghana ICT Policy for Accelerated Development (ICT4AD). He was appointed by the minister of communications in September 2005 to assist in the drafting of Electronic Transactions Bill; National Information Technology Agency Bill; National Communication Authority Bill; and Electronic Communications Bill. He was a member of a team of experts who drafted the Data Protection Bill; Electronic Investigations and Interception Regulations Bill; Ghana Domain Name Registry Bill; Electronic Signature Regulations Bill; Electronic Waste Regulations; Companies Code Amendment Draft Bill; Electronic Payment Medium Regulations Bill; Electronic Communications Regulations Bill; Mobile Number Portability Regulations Bill; Quality of Service Regulations Bill; SIM Card Registration Regulations Bill; Regulations on Grant of Special Licence Bill; Equipment Type Regulations Bill; and E-Government Advisory Note. He was also a member of the inter-ministerial subcommittee to the Ministry of Communications and Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, set up to advise on negotiations with Microsoft on bulk licensing of selected Microsoft products and use of Microsoft technology for data centres on the GoG private cloud/server platform.
Raymond Codjoe is a legal consultant to Leading Associates, a US-incorporated company, on the issues impacting on legal aspects in the design of the Ghana E-Justice CMS project, Judicial Service Study Report, and GAP analysis and comparative study report and Final report. He would provide similar services during the implementation phase of the Pilot CMS project.
