Who's Who Legal Product Liability Defence

Ross McInnes is a partner and experienced commercial litigator specialising in product liability and class actions. Ross is a key member of Australia's leading product team and has successfully defended a range of Australia's largest product liability and consumer products claims.

Ross is the co-author of Annotated Class Actions Legislation (2014, LexisNexis Butterworths), the first annotated text on class action law in Australia.

Ross has extensive experience in defending and resolving class actions, whether by having them struck out at an early stage, running representative trials to resolve critical issues or implementing resolution schemes. He has been actively involved in the running of trials in the last decade. He understands the tactical and procedural nuances of class action litigation and works with clients to develop strategies to address them. He is also engaged to provide strategic advice to boards and senior executives in relation to high-level issues and tactics.

In addition to his litigation experience, Ross routinely advises clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries on regulatory and pricing issues.

WWL says: Ross McInnes is a respected practitioner known for his “superb legal advice, judgement and litigation skills”.
