Who's Who Legal Litigation: Lawyers

Alexander Jolles is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's dispute resolution group and is head of the private clients group in Zurich. His practice focuses on international arbitration and litigation, inheritance matters, estate and succession planning, complex trust and estate disputes, and the establishment and management of foundations under Swiss law. In addition, Alexander has a strong practice in all aspects of art law, including art-related litigation.

Alexander publishes regularly in his fields of specialisation. He is on the list of arbitrators of the ICC national committee for Switzerland and of the World Intellectual Property Organization. Alexander is a member of several leading international arbitration and professional organisations. He is a lecturer on international arbitration at the University of Zurich's LLM programme in international business law and at the Swiss Arbitration Academy. Alexander graduated from the University of Berne and was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 1988. From 1989 to 1991, he worked as a foreign associate with two US law firms.
