Mr Peterman has also advised clients on a broad range of legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture capital and entrepreneurial transactions, corporate finance for telecommunications and high-tech clients, as well as the regulatory issues implicated by these matters.
Mr Peterman has lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tokyo, and London and speaks Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. While in Taiwan, he studied at the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies (IUP), formerly known as the 'Stanford Center' in Taipei.
Mr Peterman received his JD (cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center in 1996, his PhD from Stanford University in 1986, his MA from Vanderbilt University in 1975, his MA from Ohio State University in 1974 and his BA (with honours) from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1973. He is admitted in the District of Columbia, New York and Hong Kong.
