Yves has represented and advised American Life Insurance Company (a member of AIG), Assurant Solutions, CIGNA, Cardif, Dentegra, Landamerica, MetLife, Panamerican Life, Principal, Seguros Priza, Prudential, Secure Legal Title, Skandia (Old Mutual), The Hartford, The Travelers Companies and Zurich in the establishment of their Mexican affiliate insurance and reinsurance companies and provided these companies, on an ongoing basis, with general legal advice on corporate, regulatory, mergers and acquisitions and product development matters.
Yves currently represents a variety of clients on an ongoing basis in transactional work, merger and acquisitions, product development and general regulatory, corporate, corporate governance and compliance-related matters. Such clients include the following Mexican affiliate insurance companies: Assurant Daños Mexico, Allianz, Assurant Vida Mexico, AXA Seguros Mexico, BUPA Mexico, Cardif Mexico Seguros de Vida, Cardif Mexico Seguros Generales, Dentegra Seguros Dentales, Genworth, Grupo Nacional Provincial (GNP), Grupo Sudamericano de Inversiones (Sura), LandAmerica Mexico (in liquidation), Mapfre Asistencia, MetLife Mexico, Panamerican Life Mexico, Seguros Azteca, Seguros Principal, Skandia (Old Mutual), Principal Pensiones, Prudential Seguros Mexico and Zurich Mexico.
Yves also represents Mexican and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies in coverage issues, claims, disputes, negotiation and settlement of insurance and reinsurance claims and has experience in arbitration and mediation.
Yves is a former chairman of the Mexican chapter of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA) (AMEDESEF) and established ARIAS Mexico.
Yves is a member of the presidential council, and finance committee, of AIDA; vice chairman of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) and an honorary member of the Commercial Bar (COMBAR).
Yves is the management partner of Nader, Hayaux & Goebel’s London Office and splits his time between London and Mexico. In 2011 Yves founded the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, of which he currently serves as chairman, and co-founded the Latin American Forum.
Yves has acted as secretary of the board of directors and non-executive independent director and secretary of the anti-money laundering, investments, risk and audit committees of Mexican insurance and surety subsidiaries of international companies such as Assurant, Cardif, CIGNA, MetLife, Principal, Skandia and The Travelers Companies, and currently serves as non-executive and independent director of Dentegra Seguros Dentales, liquidator of LandAmerica Title Insurance Company Mexico, and secretary non-member of the board of directors of Assurant Vida Mexico and Assurant Daños Mexico.

Yves has been involved in aviation-related matters for many years. When Saab was a regular lessor of aircraft to Aeromexico, Yves frequently represented Saab in its day-to-day operations, including the negotiation and lease of more than 24 aircraft to Aeromexico.
Yves also has participated regularly in insurance and reinsurance-related matters involving aviation law and related risk, including advising AXA in the claim to AIG arising from the aircraft accident in which the secretary of the Interior of Mexico and other high-level officers perished.
During the first stages of insolvency of Mexicana, Yves advised and represented Aviation Capital Group in the workout and restructuring of eight aircraft lease agreements and three additional new aircraft lease agreements.
Yves also acted as expert in Mexican law in the landmark matter of Pegasus Aviation, Inc, and others as claimants (insured) and Seguros Comercial America, SA de CV as respondent, from 2006 to 2008, with work involving among other issues the construction of AVN 67B.
Yves' focus on aviation law has been always using the strength of his experience and expertise in insurance, reinsurance and financial laws, all of which have given him a strong edge to serve NHG clients in aviation-related matters.
