He has represented companies and their senior executives before the national authorities and the European Commission as well as before fiscal, civil, criminal and administrative courts all the way up to the Court of Justice of the EU.
Marian completed his legal education at the universities of Kiel, Liège and Surrey and holds a Master of European Studies (MES) from the European Centre for Comparative Government and Public Policy in Berlin. He is the author of several publications on foreign trade and customs law as well as public procurement law and is also named as a leading practitioner in The International Who's Who of Trade and Customs Lawyers, 2010 and 2011 editions.
Notable memberships include the European Forum for External Trade, Excise and Customs, the Society of International Economic Law and the German branch of the International Law Association.
Marian speaks German, English and French. He joined the firm in 2008.
