Claus Staringer is a principal consultant in the firm's Vienna office and a member of our tax group. Claus specializes in corporate tax planning, structuring M&A transactions, structured financing as well as litigation in tax matters. In particular he advises industrial enterprises, banks and insurance companies, international investment banks and private equity funds.
Claus Staringer is the author of a number of articles and publications. He is a professor for tax law at WU and a member of the permanent scientific committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Since 1997 he is admitted as tax adviser.
Claus Staringer was born in Vienna in 1967. He received his legal education at the University of Vienna, as well as at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Claus Staringer joined the firm in 1999 and speaks German and English.
