Kim I McCullough is a partner in the Denver office of the law firm Ballard Spahr, LLP, a full-service firm with approximately 500 lawyers, where she heads up the firm's franchise and distribution practice group. Since graduating from the University of Colarado School of Law in 1981, she has devoted her law practice to representing franchisors with respect to compliance with franchise registration and disclosure laws, franchisor/franchisee relations, international expansion, mergers and aquisitions, general corporate issues and trademark issues.

Ms McCullough represents franchisors domestically and internationally, operating within a wide variety of industries, as well as foreign master franchisees and joint ventures and companies with alternative licensing and distribution networks.

Ms McCullough has written numerous articles on franchising and has been a regular speaker at the International Franchise Association legal symposiums, IFA annual conventions, the ABA Forum on Franchising and other organisations. She is a memeber of the Colorado Bar, the American Bar Association (forum committee on franchising, section on international law) and phi beta kappa. She was selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America publication for the past seven years and is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, national ranking, franchising law, 2011.

Ballard Spahr, a Philadelphia-based law firm with 12 offices in North America, is on the IFA supplier's council. The firm's clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as hundreds of other national and international companies, partnerships and trade associations.
