She has an active practice representing clients in cases before the Polish Competition Authority and the European Commission, covering explanatory and anti-monopoly proceedings, leniency applications and concentration proceedings. She assists clients in reviewing their business structures and is a keen advocate of new business models.
Marta offers client-oriented competition law compliance programmes, always tailored to the specific needs of a particular industry, as well as internal audit and competition workshops for CEOs, managers and employees. She is experienced in a wide range of industry sectors, in particular the telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as construction and insurance industries.
She has handled cases for AkzoNobel, Cemex, KBC, Liberty Global, ICI, P4 and Astra Zeneca.
Marta is a frequent speaker on Polish and European competition law at conferences and seminars organised by professional associations. She is recognised by all the principal legal directories as a leading individual in competition law.

After graduating from the law faculty at Warsaw University, Marta completed an LLM programme in EU law at Maastricht University. In 2001, she completed her PhD studies in competition law at Warsaw University. Marta is also an associate professor at Warsaw University, faculty of law, lecturing on EU and competition law. She was promoted to become a partner in May 2012.
