Alison has over 16 years' experience in advising clients in the life sciences, banking and electronics sectors.

Alison specialises in the conduct and supervision of multi-jurisdictional IP and patent litigation, and has significant experience in litigating in the courts in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.

She advises pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on regulatory issues, market authorisations, clinical trial agreements and public sector procurement. Alison has also been involved in negotiating R&D agreements and technology licensing in both the biotechnology and pharmaceutical contexts.

Alison continues to be ranked as a leading IP lawyer by the major industry publications and legal directories including Chambers Asia Pacific, The International Who's Who of Life Sciences Lawyers, The International Who's Who of Patent Lawyers, Asialaw's Leading Lawyers and the Legal Media Group's Guide to the World's Leading Patent Law Practitioners.

She is a regular speaker at international conferences and was involved in lobbying the HKSAR government and the HKSAR Legislative Council on copyright law reform, and is also a member of APAA, INTA and the HKTMP.
