Dr Thomas Töben has over 20 years of experience in tax law and advises on the restructuring and reorganising of businesses and partnerships, M&A transactions, and taxation of real property investments. He is consistently ranked among the leading lawyers for his tax expertise.
He graduated from Hamburg University in 1981 and lectured there until 1987. He was a partner of a major German law firm from 1990 to 1995, German resident partner of an international law firm from 1996 to 2000, and joined P+P Pöllath + Partners as a partner in April 2000. He has frequently lectured on international tax law and written numerous articles on tax matters.
