David Pritikin is a partner in Sidley's Chicago office, chairs the firm's national intellectual property practice and is a member of the firm's executive committee. He has served as lead counsel in many high profile patent cases involving telecommunications, handsets, software, and medical devices. He has also handled more than a dozen Hatch-Waxman cases involving important pharmaceutical products. His experience includes jury and bench trials in the federal courts as well as trials in the International Trade Commission and arguments before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr Pritikin received his JD (magna cum laude) from Harvard Law School in 1974 and his AB (summa cum laude) from Cornell University in 1971. He is admitted to the Illinois Bar and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
