Kevin Mundie holds degrees from Loyola University of New Orleans, Louisiana (BA, summa cum laude, 1973); Harvard University (JD, 1980); and the Universidade do Estado de Rio de Janeiro (revalidation, 1996). He is a member of the Brazilian Bar (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Distrito Federal sections) and the New York Bar. He participates in the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Comunications Law. His practice areas include commercial, corporate and administrative law. He possesses recognised expertise in the telecommunications area, assisting and advising on matters covering all aspects of the industry, especially matters related to satellite communications. He has been involved in almost every relevant telecommunications project in Brazil and has substantial experience in dealing with the Brazilian regulatory authorities, having also actively contributed to proposed rule-making for the regulation of telecommunications services. He speaks English and Portuguese.
