Ren Martin is senior counsel in the global finance practice in the New York office, where he joined the firm in 1972. He has previously served as a member of the firm’s executive committee. Ren has worked in the mortgage-backed area since 1977 when he participated in the Bank of America pass-through transaction, which was the first publicly offered conventional pass-through transaction. Since 1984, Ren has concentrated on mortgage-backed and asset-backed financings of all types. He was admitted to practise in New York in 1974 after graduating from Harvard Law School (class of 1972).
