Mr Goldman is a former head of the Canadian Competition Bureau. He is special adviser to the competition committee of the business and industry advisory committee to the OECD, a member of the long range planning committee of the American Bar Association section of antitrust law, and former co-chair of the section's international task force, and a vice-chair of the ICC task force on the International Competition Network.
Mr Goldman is recognised as a "star individual" for competition law in Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers for Business 2012; this highest ranking is one he has held for a number of years. He is also recognised in PLC Which Lawyer? 2012, Law Business Research's The International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers 2012, The 2012 Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, The 2012 Lexpert Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-border Litigation Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2012, and Legal Media Group's Guide to Leading Practitioners: China 2011.
