As well as working in London, Nicholas worked in the Brussels office for many years, and most recently was based in the Beijing office where he was co-head of the firm's antitrust, competition and trade practice group in China. Nicholas continues to travel regularly between these jurisdictions.
Nicholas advises on a wide range of UK, EU and Chinese competition issues across many industries, covering mergers and joint ventures, alliances and cooperation arrangements, distribution networks, as well as cartels and dominance/monopolisation inquiries. He is particularly active in areas of manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, transport and consumer products.
Nicholas has spoken widely on competition issues, including most recently in Australia, China, Europe, Japan, Korea and North America.
