Daniel Daeniker (born 1963) is a partner of Homburger AG, one of Switzerland's leading law firms based in Zurich. He studied law at the Universities of Neuchâtel and Zurich, from where he graduated in 1987 and obtained a doctorate in 1992. He also studied at the Law School of the University of Chicago, from where he graduated as an LLM in 1996. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.
Daniel Daeniker has spent most of his professional career with Homburger AG, where he has been a partner since 2000. He became head of the corporate/M&A practice group in 2009 and has been managing partner since 2013. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, financial services regulation and corporate governance.
Daniel Daeniker is a director of Kaba Holding AG, where he is chairman of the audit committee, of GAM Holding AG, and of Paris Orléans SA, the parent company of the Rothschild Group. He is a lecturer in law at the University of Zurich and a member of the editorial board of the legal periodical GesKR: Zeitschrift für Gesellschafts- und Kapitalmarktrecht.
