Tax expert launches specialist boutique after three decades at previous firm
Guillermo Teijeiro has launched Teijeiro & Ballone in Buenos Aires.
Guillermo Teijeiro
The former name partner and founder of Negri & Teijeiro began his new firm in August after 32 years with his previous firm. He is joined by three partners including fellow name partner Mariano Ballone and four associates.
Teijeiro & Ballone will specialise in domestic and international corporate and tax advice, as well as administrative and tax litigation. Teijeiro says that he aims to model his new firm on boutique tax firms in Europe and the Americas that advise on clients’ matters from the very start of a transaction.
Teijeiro himself is specifically experienced in tax planning and reviewing of international and domestic business transactions, general tax advice and federal and local tax litigation.
“We worked together for over 30 years - 22 of them as partners in this firm - so I’m really going to miss him,” says Negri about his former partner. He adds that the departure happened on “very amicable terms”.
Teijeiro is listed in The International Who’s Who of Corporate Tax Lawyers.
