Bristow Group hires former Transocean GC in Houston
Helicopter transport service provider Bristow Group has hired Edward Chipman Earle as general counsel, senior vice president and corporate secretary based in Houston, Texas.
He arrives from Transocean where he was manager in charge of the worldwide legal operations team and also served as general counsel for the company’s Europe and Africa business unit.
With more than a decade in legal practice, Earle is highly qualified in corporate and securities law and mergers and acquisitions within private practice – as well as boasting experience in advising executive management on issues relating to commercial aspects of joint ventures specifically within the energy industry.
In his new role, Earle will serve on Bristow’s senior management team responsible for global legal operations, compliance and internal audit.
William Chiles, president and chief executive officer of Bristow said that the group is looking forward to Earle “contributing greatly” to the team.

For over half a century, Bristow Group has been a leading provider of helicopter services to the offshore energy industry.
