Todd Woelfer has been named the new general counsel, vice president and secretary of Thor Industries based in Ohio.

Currently the managing partner at May Oberfell Lorber, he will begin his new post on 6 August taking over from George Lawrence who is returning to practise law in Indianapolis.

Formerly the general counsel at Coachmen Industries, Woelfer will report to Thor’s chairman and CEO Peter Orthwein who says that he is “confident” that Woelfer will be successful in his new position.

“We are fortunate to hire Todd who has industry experience, previous public company general counsel experience, and is local and well known and respected by many of our employees” he says.

Founded in 1980 by Wade Thompson and Peter Orthwein, Thor has become a renowned manufacturer of recreation vehicles and a major builder of commercial buses.
