Restructured Italian firm welcomes former Dewey team
Grimaldi & Associati has been joined by the former Italian team at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP which includes top antitrust partner Rino Caiazzo.
The firm now has 120 lawyers based Milan, Rome and Brussels and will practice under the new name of Grimaldi Studio Legale.
Caiazzo, who joined Dewey two years ago, says: “Dewey’s Italian practice was fundamentally healthy and did not have problems. We could have split the group, but we opted to join forces with the remaining practice of Grimaldi, which is a renowned name.”
Caiazzo is listed in the Competition, Regulatory Communications and Oil & Gas editions of Who’s Who Legal.
Francesco Sciaudone who heads up the Grimaldi antitrust practice said: “I am very happy to welcome Rino. He’s an excellent practitioner with great skills. His and Dewey’s group move and the setting up of Grimaldi Studio Legale creates great opportunities for growing our practices in Brussels, Milan and Rome.”
The new firm will retain almost all of Dewey’s Italian practice’s clients.
