Sidley welcomes top funds partner in New York
Leading funds lawyer Timothy Clark has joined the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP in its investment funds, advisers and derivatives practice.

He joins from Covington & Burling LLP in New York.
Clark is internationally known for representing private fund clients in various industries ranging from energy to real estate. He also represents managers in spin-outs from financial institutions and venture capital and credit opportunity clients.
“Tim is a leading investment funds lawyer with tremendous experience in the varied aspects of private equity fund formation,” said Michael Schmidtberger, managing partner of Sidley’s New York office. “Tim will be leading the firm’s private equity fund formation efforts in New York and will add to the considerable strength of our global practice group.”
