Lombardi Segni e Associati is a dominant force in the Italian banking market, with practitioners providing outstanding experience across a range of matters. This year they receive four nominations.
Founding partner Giuseppe Lombardi is praised by sources as a practitioner who “stands out in the field” and is this year listed as one of our most highly regarded individuals. He runs a distinguished practice which sees him advise and represent clients on a range of banking and finance matters, including insolvency.

Legance Avvocati Associati’s Andrea Giannelli receives strong support from respondents to our research this year and maintains a position as one of the top finance specialists in the country. His practice sees him advise on such issues as bonds and structured finance transactions.
Alberto Giampieri is a distinguished name in both the domestic and international markets. Matters such as structured finance and restructurings are areas in which he offers particular insight and he is known to advise a range of clients including private equity funds and investment banks.

Studio Legale RCC’s Alberto Del Din is “a well-known individual” in the Italian market who is featured as one of our most highly regarded practitioners this year. He runs an impressive practice and is praised by sources for his work in securities and structured finance.

Identified in our research as one of the most highly regarded practitioners in Italy, sources say Luca Lo Po' of GLG & Partners “has an encyclopaedic knowledge of European and Italian regulation” and is “able to provide rapid, accurate assessments of a situation combined with pragmatic advice”. He is praised for his work on corporate private debt, with commentators calling him “intelligent, flexible and focused”.

At Allen & Overy Studio Legale Associato, Stefano Sennhauser is “a real expert” in banking and finance matters according to market players. With over 25 years of experience in the field, he offers clients comprehensive insight into issues including leveraged financing, project finance and general lending.

BonelliErede has a top practitioner in Emanuela Da Rin who comes highly recommended by sources in the market. Praised as “a specialist in real estate finance”, she is also commended for her work advising on bond issuances, and debt capital markets.
