Galicia Abogados SC is seen as “a top-notch outfit”. Carlos de Maria y Campos S spearheads most of the major deals the firm undertakes in the power and oil and gas sectors. He is described as “a prevailing force in the market”.

Basham Ringe y Correa’s Juan Carlos Serra Campillo is well attested in our research for his financing practice, focusing on international and local financing for large energy projects. One source notes, “He is a fine negotiator.”

Benjamin Torres-Barrón heads up the well-respected energy practice at Baker McKenzie, covering the full remit of oil and gas, power and renewable energy projects and transactions. One peer remarks, “His star is rising constantly, he is ever-present on big transactions and I often hear from clients that his work is excellent.”

Miguel Jáuregui Rojas heads the corporate and energy practices at Jáuregui y Del Valle and earns respect from respondents for his longstanding and eminent practice.
