 Hambach & Hambach’s founding partners stand out in this year’s research. The “outstanding” Wulf Hamback heads the firm’s regulatory and licence affairs group and is recognised as one of the most highly regarded practitioners in our research. He is singled out for his “strong practice in the gambling space”. Claus Hambach is also highly regarded for his gambling law practice; he is very well known in the industry, with an excellent reputation.

Grub Frank Bahmann Schickhardt Englert garners two listings. Name partner Christoph Schickhardt is a well-known sports lawyer with an impressive practice relating to the Germany’s professional football league. According to sources, “He is the man the clubs turn to for any disciplinary-related issues.” The “fantastic” Joachim Rain is also commended for his deep understanding of German sports law.
