Lademann & Associates co-leads the research with two listings. Managing partner Rainer Lademann is “very well known” for his work on competition matters relating to a variety of sectors. He is regarded among peers as “one of the standout names” in the German competition space. He is joined by Niels Frank who is a highly regarded economist who possesses deep experience providing testimony in relation to cartel damage cases.

Two leading economists from E.CA Economics achieve listings this year, including managing partner Rainer Nitsche who, according to sources, “is clearly the market leader” in Germany. He is considered a “terrific” competition economist and possesses two decades of experience in the field. Alongside him, managing director Hans Friederiszick is “at the forefront of the German market”. His expertise covers all areas of competition law, from merger control and cartels to abuse of dominance cases.
