Public Procurement Marketplace Analysis

Ghana is working towards a more sustainable public procurement system where public funds are spent on products, services or projects that achieve value for money over the period of a lifetime. Public procurement lawyers are adapting to this change and we list three leading experts, all from AB & David Law Affiliates, who stand out for their work in this area.

Ferdinand Adadzi, head of the procurement team, was consistently recognised for “providing a high level of legal advice”. He prepares public-private partnership (PPP) transaction structures, advises on PPP policies and regulatory frameworks and reviews PPP contracts and agreements.

David Ofosu-Dorte is “very much at the forefront of the procurement industry” and frequently advises on commercial procurement matters. His recent work includes the development of regulatory and institutional frameworks for the first ever PPP legislation for Ghana.

Isabel Boaten is a “very impressive” lawyer whose practice covers the preparation of procurement and concessions regulations and the design and administration of the PPP processes.
