Kromann Reumert has a “first-class reputation” for capital markets work and six of its brightest stars feature in the corresponding chapter. Jørgen Kjergaard Madsen has “vast” national and international experience and “knows his clients’ businesses inside out”. As well as being a capital markets specialist, he is recognised for his expertise in three other chapters, namely banking, corporate governance and M&A, giving weight to one source’s comment that he is “an all-round fantastic lawyer”. Christian Lundgren is listed in both the capital markets and M&A chapters and has advised clients on several ground-breaking transactions in Denmark. His clients include several OMXC20 companies, leading Nordic and international equity funds, leading Danish and foreign market enterprises, and privately owned businesses. Also listed for capital markets and M&A work is the “exceptional” Henrik Møgelmose, whom peers describe as a “much-admired transactional lawyer”. Kim Rasmussen has “a first-rate understanding of all the legal issues” and Marianne Philip is “a very impressive attorney”. Ian Tokley represents Danish and international banks and investment banks in respect of syndicated and acquisition financing as well as capital markets generally, and he has “significant” experience of securitisation and structured finance.

Competition is another of the firm’s strengths, with three partners earning recognition for their work in this area. Erik Bertelsen’s areas of expertise include merger control and advice on price and discount issues in relation to dominant companies. Sources commented that his work is of a “consistently excellent standard”. In addition to his “thriving” competition practice, Jens Plum regularly advises on procurement law issues and both he and Bertelsen also feature in the public procurement chapter. Morten Kofmann won plaudits for his Articles 101 and 102 casework.

Lau Jørgensen is one of a trio of lawyers recommended for their work in the internet and e-commerce sector. He heads the firm’s IT and outsourcing group and is the author of numerous articles on IT and telecoms law. Søren Skibsted has a broad experience of outsourcing and technology transactional matters, such as fixed and mobile network outsourcings and network sharing deals and is “known for getting results”. Vagn Thorup is “first choice” for many clients in the telecoms industry.

Three attorneys are listed in the management labour and employment chapter. Helene Amsinck is “an authority” on restructuring, collective redundancies and the legal and contractual rights of executive employees, while Marianne Granhøj is “an impressive negotiator”. Managing partner Claus Hansen is a labour law “specialist”.

Kromann Reumert has a number of “multi-talented” individuals whose expertise spans various practice areas, allowing them to give clear, comprehensive advice in overlapping areas of law. Jens Rostock-Jensen is nominated in the aviation, insurance, litigation and product liability chapters. Sources dubbed him a “gifted advocate” with “invaluable commercial awareness”. Nicolai Lindgreen features in the life sciences and patents chapters and has a large bank of international clients. “He considers legal issues in a business context,” according to one commentator, making him a “first-rate commercial lawyer”.

Kromann Reumert’s impressive breadth of expertise is demonstrated by its listings in multiple other chapters of The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, including real estate and project finance.
