With an impressive real estate practice that provides expertise in business, industrial, office, hotel and residential property advice, we list three lawyers from the Paris office in the corresponding chapter. The “brilliant” Renaud Baguenault de Puchesse is praised for his acquisition work and his clients include Warburg Henderson, Morgan Stanley Real Estate and UBS. Eric Martin-Impératori’s experience includes advising on large-scale projects such as shopping centres and office building developments. He recently acted for Macquarie Global Property Advisors and Générale Continentale Investissements in the purchase of 32,000m² of office space and for HSBC on the acquisition of 10 buildings under construction. Frédéric Nouel completes the firm’s line-up, earning recognition as an expert when it comes to non-listed real estate collective investment trusts.

A trio of names also features in the corporate tax chapter. The “excellent” Richard Beauvais has over 30 years of experience in the field, and Olivier Dauchez’s practice includes advising on the tax aspects of M&A, corporate reorganisations and real estate investments. Guillaume Goulard is lauded for his “meticulous approach”: he specialises in the tax aspects of major structured finance deals, public-private partnerships and tax disputes.

The firm boasts a strong IP practice and three names are listed in the trademarks chapter. Emmanuel Larere is credited for providing “creative and practical” advice, having acted on behalf of some of the world’s leading brands in luxury goods and sports apparel. Arnaud Michel is a “highly regarded” individual and Grégoire Triet is praised as a “leading name” in the IP field. A “strategic thinker”, he compliments his listing in the trademarks chapter with an entry in the patents section and has extensive experience in patent infringement and validity disputes.

John Crothers features prominently in the project finance and public procurement chapters. He advises financial institutions, concession companies, operators and bidding consortia in tender offers concerning various infrastructure projects. The “business-focused” Youssef Djehane is praised for his corporate expertise. Listed in both M&A and corporate governance chapters, his clients include Groupe Crédit Agricole, IBM and Novartis.

A duo of names features in the arbitration chapter. Christian Camboulive has acted as counsel or arbitrator in numerous international arbitration proceedings. The “brilliant” Carole Malinvaud’s cases often involve the execution of international contacts concerning the expropriation and distribution of foreign investments. For banking matters Eric Cartier-Millon is particularly well-recognised for his structured finance expertise, and Jean-Guillaume de Tocqueville has advised the French government on banking and financial regulations. Two names also feature in the construction chapter, including Bruno de Cazalet whose practice focuses on infrastructure and public service projects in emerging countries. He is joined by the “excellent” Rupert Reece who advises on the contentious and non-contentious aspects of international construction projects.

The firm offers further nominees in the capital markets, competition, environment, insolvency, insurance, commercial litigation, oil and gas, private funds, regulatory communications and trade chapters, attesting to the breadth and depth of expertise it has to offer.
