Aviation law is undoubtedly one of the firm’s strongest areas. With 19 lawyers listed across seven offices in five continents, Clyde & Co is unbeatable in terms of the quality of its practitioners and its global reach, a crucial factor in such an international industry. The London office is best represented, with 11 lawyers featured. Philip Perrotta, head of the aviation finance group, is a “prominent figure” in the area and works for global aircraft lenders, lessors and operators. He is joined by Mark Bisset, a “well-known and highly regarded” lawyer specialising in the business jet market. On the insurance side, David Willcox has an “established” practice in major aviation catastrophe work including the management of complex multi-jurisdictional claims. Peng Lim leads the aviation team in the firm’s Singapore office and is praised for her “adept handling of complex international disputes”. Based in Dubai, Oliver Tebbit has 10 years’ experience in asset finance transactions and specialises in the business jet market.
