PEOPLE AND PRACTICES
The firm’s M&A team assist clients in a variety of transactions including joint ventures, buybacks and auctions. Daniel del Río is a “well-known” figure in the M&A market and has worked on a number of commercial transactions. He is particularly noted for his work in the mining sector. Juan José López De Silanes Molina is another “first-class” specialist and he works on both domestic and international M&A matters.
The trademarks practice encompasses investigations, registrations, negotiation and filings of trademarks, commercial advertisements and trade names. Martín Michaus is an “expert” on intellectual property matters, as is Eduardo Kleinberg who specialises in international licensing.
Tax is a core practice at the firm and lawyers deal with matters ranging from planning to litigation and audits. Luis Ortiz Hidalgo is a “true heavyweight” in tax litigation.
